Agile development methodologies, as realized in Continuous Integration (CI) and DevOps practices, have been driving the transformation of testing strategies in all organizations. Instead of following a potentially lengthy process of requirement collection, code development and application testing, the agile approach works in much shorter and rapid cycles – focusing only on the most pressing requirements. Such an approach creates challenges which require an overhaul of traditional waterfall testing practices as well as the adoption of new tools.
